Language/Spelling 6 A & B

We will not have a spelling test this week. Both classes started a novel this week in Reading.  The words will come from the novel for the next few weeks.  The next Spelling Test is planned for Oct. 17.

Words for 6 A will be-  scrawny, assembly, weird, laser, glimpse, scowling, mastodons, evidence, vacant, drool, duplex, fiend, moron, midget, hunkering, earthling, identify, consequences, humanoid, and whack

Words for 6 B will be - temporary, admitted, district, attacked, Caribbean, galleons, binoculars, pontoon, horizon, channel, aviation, refinery, schooners, torpedo, mutiny, massive, constantly, lubricating, murmur, and outrageous

Language - We are learning about direct and indirect quotes and when to use quotation marks.
Plus reviewing capitalization and punctuation rules.
